Interesting. I thought, at first, this WAS a photo. I like it. I generally prefer realistic art, with a few marked exceptions in abstract and surreal art (very few). I love the colors in the bricks. I have a photographer friend, Peter Ziebel, who would probably love this place.
Holly took the words out of my mouth. It did look like a photo at first, but the beautiful colors made me think twice about that. Of course, I love cityscapes so I love the subject matter. You did a great job on this. Probably my favorite representational piece.

ReplyDeleteLooking again, I have to comment that I love the treatment of the bricks. Bricks can be tricky and boring but you nailed these.
