My intent is to create subtle movement and shapes through color, rhythm, texture, lines, and a look of spontaneity. Where any one single shape or stroke stood out as dominant I went back and tried to blend it in with a less dominant shape or color. Where a pattern or shape begins to emerge, I've tried to disrupt the image with another subtle feature. All the messiness, confusion, and angst fades away at the very top with the little subtle red ball that signifies hope and better times ahead.
Similar to the style of Pierre Alechinsky and Asger Jorn.
